10. The Yonaguni Monument Japan.

The Yonaguni Monument also known as Yonaguni Island submarine ruins is a submerged rock formation off the coast of Yonaguni. The southern most of the Ryukyu islands in Japan. It lies approximately a hundred kilometers east of Taiwan discovered by scuba diving instructor Kihachiro Aratake after he plunged into the water off the coast of the Japanese island of Yonaguni.

in 1986 the unsolved underwater mystery became known as Japan's Atlantis. a series of monoliths terraced into the side of a mountain lay six meters below the surface of the ocean. The gigantic rectangular formations with strikingly perfect 90-degree angles straight walls steppes and columns are believed to be the remains of an ancient city that sunk due to seismic events thousands of years ago.

Still no one knows for sure if it was just a giant piece of rock underwater. Then it wouldn't be that interesting but there are all sorts of details that would point to human influence. There are a couple of pillars a stone column a wall that is 33 feet wide a road and a star-shaped platform. No one is really sure what the Yonaguni monument is? or where it came from? let us know what do you think this structure is.

9. Costa Rica's Stone Spheres.

Costa Rica's Stone Spheres still considered one of the world's unsolved archaeological mysteries. Nearly flawless spherical stones were first found in the Dickey's Delta of Costa Rica during the 1930's. They varied in size from a few inches in diameter to seven feet across and weighing 16 tons. Scientists aren't sure who made them? how old they are? or what purpose they might have had?.

Hundreds more have been discovered all over the country ranging in size from a few centimeters to over 2 meters in diameter. This fear sparked numerous myths and speculations. Scientists still don't know for sure what the purpose of these mysterious polished orbs might be. A collection of six now resides in the courtyard of Costa Rica's National Museum in San Jose.

8. Nazca lines Peru.

The unusual formation of white lines that can be seen and appreciated only from the sky remains one of the world's biggest enigmas. The purpose of trapezoidal elements, strange symbols, plant structures, pictures of birds and unrecognizable beasts edged on a giant scale is still unknown. Scientists estimated that the lines were created by Nazca Indians between 500 BC and 700 AD. Meaning that these ancient drawings remain intact for more than 2,500 years.

The fans of conspiracy theories believe that the lines in the Nazca desert were created as an enormous airfield for aliens. The Nazca lines have been called the eighth wonder of the world. They often form into one of over 300 different geometric patterns including 70 animal and plant forms. Perhaps the most well known and intriguing etching is that of a humanoid figure nicknamed the astronaut. Let us know what you think these Nazca lines are in the comment section below.

7. Mount Owen MOA.

1986 a group of archaeologists discovered an enormous dinosaur light claw when they were digging in a large cave system on mount Owen in New Zealand. The claw was still intact with muscles and scaly skin attached to it. Later the experts confirmed that it is the foot of now extinct wingless Birds MOA. The species disappeared about 2,000 years ago. MOA were huge birds measuring up to twelve feet in height and up to 250 kilograms in weight. Unfortunately they got hunted to extinction by our early ancestors.

6. Salzburg Cube Austria.

The wolf's egg iron also known as the Salzburg cube is a small cuboid of massive iron. That was found buried in tertiary lignite in wolf Sethe in House Rock Austria in 1885. It weighs 785 grams and measures 67 by 67 by 44 millimeters. Four of its sides are roughly flat while the two remaining sides opposite each other are convex. A fairly deep groove is incised all the way around the object about midway up its height in reality. It is not a cube proper but rather a parallel piped. it was originally identified by scientists as being of meteoric origin.

5. The Unfinished Obelisk.

The Unfinished Obelisk is the largest known ancient obelisk and is located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt and it is taller than any known obelisk ever raised. It is one of the most famous stones ever excavated. Its creation was ordered by Hut Chipset 1508 - 1458 bc. possibly to complement what would later be known as the Lateran obelisk which was originally at Karnak and was later brought to the Lateran Palace in Rome.

The unfinished obelisk is nearly one-third larger than any ancient Egyptian obelisk ever erected. If finished it would have measured around 42 meters approximately 137 feet and would have weighed nearly 1090 metric tons. 1,200 tons a weight equal to about 200 African elephants. The work on the unfinished obelisk had been abandoned due to clearly visible cracks that appeared in the granite.

Virtually nothing is known about which Pharaoh ordered the obelisk and where it was supposed to be erected. Besides the unfinished obelisk an unfinished partly worked, obelisk base was discovered in 2005 at the quarries of Ozma. There also discovered were some rock carvings and remains that may correspond to the site where most of the famous obelisks were worked. All these quarries in Aswan and the unfinished objects are an open-air Museum and are officially protected by the Egyptian government as an archaeological site.

4. The Gobekli Tepe.

The ancient site of Gobekli Tepe in Turkey has rewritten the early history of civilization. Since the excavation started there in 1995 the discovery has changed the way archaeologists think about the Neolithic era and the origins of humanity. Scientists dug out circular structures with elaborately carved stones and distinctive pillars better more than 12,000 years old. It was believed that in the Neolithic period pottery and agriculture hadn't been invented. Today the gobekli tepe site possesses the most ancient cathedral developed by mankind. This significant discovery is still to be thoroughly explored and explained.

3. The Voynich Manuscript.

Rather than being named for the author, the Voynich manuscript is called after Wilfrid Voynich a book dealer who purchased the mysterious codex back in 1912. Still nobody can identify the person behind the handwritten artifact that's written in an unknown language in addition to the unreadable text.

It is adorned with illustrations of unidentifiable plants and objects. Naturally the manuscript has become a source of constant evolving conspiracy theories. The last one claims that it was created as a sophisticated practical joke however writing 240 pages of text using an elaborate sign system might be too much even for a prankster.

2. Mystery Stone In 1872.

So the story goes, Workers digging a hole for a fence post near Lake Winnipesaukee in the central part of this New England state found a lump of clay. That seemed out of place there was something inside a dark odd-looking egg-shaped stone with a variety of carvings. It was including a face, teepee, ear of corn and star-like circles and there were many questions who made this stone and why. How old was it? how was it carved?

To date no one has been able to say for sure and the item has come to be known as the mystery stone. Seneca lad a local businessman who hired the workers was credited with the discovery. The stone surrounded by mirrors showing off at symbols is on display in the Museum of New Hampshire. History where it was last exhibited in 1996 all of the symbols on the 4 inch long, two-and-a-half inch thick. Stone is open to interpretation on one side it has what looks like inverted arrows, a moon, some dots and a spiral. Another side shows the ear of corn and a depressed circle with three figures one of which looks like a deer's leg.

1. Mysterious Burial Pit.

Archaeologists have revealed the remains of a 13th century child skeleton which they found underneath a horse and alongside lots of other animals. The discovery was made back in 2017 during normal urban rehabilitation works near the local church. They were amazed to find a child skeleton underneath a horse along with lots of other animals. Although the finds are still being investigated. The researchers think that the weapons in the pit might suggest the child's death was collateral damage of the violence during the reconquest of the sylphs and that no care was taken with burying.

The body this unusual variety of animals piled together is what makes this finding bizarre and the discarded child skeleton along with these makes it more shocking. The truth is that throughout our history there have been causes of great brutality that can only be revealed through archaeology. Personally I think this may be one of those it is a unique.
